BOTOA, ERMITA VIRGEN DE BOTOA

La ermita está situada a 17 Km. de Badajoz, y a pesar de que la primera construcción dataría del S. XIV o XV, puede que fuese anterior.

La actual es fruto de la remodelación llevada a cabo en el S. XIX por el arquitecto municipal Tomás Brioso Mapellí.

Exteriormente es de sencilla construcción, con atrio circundado por una verja, presentando una españada en la fachada que contiene la campana, vano a modo de rosetón, tejado a dos aguas y cúpula con cubierta piramidal.

Interiormente la planta rectangular con coro alto a los pies se cubre con bóveda de cañón. El prebiterio tiene una cúpula con pinturas, murales y el magnífico retablo es característico portugués con estilo del S. XVIII, realizado en mármol de Borba.

The chapel is situated 17 Km . From Badajoz, and although the first building dates from the S. XIV or XV, it may have been before. The present is the result of remodeling carried out in the XIX century by the municipal architect Thomas Brioso Mapelli . 

The exterior is of simple construction , with an atrium surrounded by a fence , presenting a españada on the facade containing the bell , vain as a rosette, gabled roof and cupola with a pyramidal roof . 

Inside the rectangular plant with high choir on the feet is covered with a barrel vault . The presbytery has a dome with paintings, murals and the magnificent altarpiece is typical Portuguese style of the XVIII century , made of marble Borba .

Die Kapelle ist Km. 17 von Badajoz , und obwohl die ersten Gebäude stammt aus dem S. XIV oder XV , kann es vorher gewesen sind entfernt. Die Gegenwart ist das Ergebnis der Umbau im XIX Jahrhundert von der Stadtbaumeister Thomas Brioso Mapelli durchgeführt.

Im Inneren der rechteckigen Anlage mit Hochchor an den Füßen ist mit einem Tonnengewölbe . Das Presbyterium hat eine Kuppel mit Gemälden, Wandmalereien und die prächtige Altarbild ist typisch portugiesischen Stil des XVIII Jahrhundert , von Marmor Borba gemacht .

Intérieur de la plante rectangulaire avec chœur élevé sur les pieds est recouverte d'une voûte en berceau . Le presbytère a un dôme avec des peintures , des peintures murales et le magnifique retable est de style typiquement portugais du XVIIIe siècle , en marbre de Borba .
